NOMINATION of OFFICIALS AND JUDGES 


All competing Brigades are required to nominate a Minimum of 2 non competing members to act as Judges for each Championship.

This form will need to be completed for each judge individually.

Working with Children Check Requirements - Judges and Officials

It is mandatory for all Judges and Officials to hold a current Working With Children Check (WWCC) card with VFBV registered as the organisation, or VFBV added as an additional organisation to an existing WWCC. This is required for both the Junior and Senior Championships.

a) If you do not have a WWCC Card: you can apply online at https://www.service.vic.gov.au/services/working-with-children or if you need assistance please phone WWCC Customer Service on 1300 652 879 or the VFBV Office 9886 1141.

b) If you already have a WWCC Card: with CFA or other organisation/s, you are required to add VFBV as an additional organisation.

You WWCC card can be updated online of by phoning WWCC Customer Service 1300 652 879 and providing VFBV's details:

Please do not delay applying for or updating your Working with Children Check as it can take up to six weeks to checks to be completed.


Nominating for more than one role

If you are nominating for more than one role, insert your second preference in the text box. The Urban Competition and Rules Committee will endeavour to cater for a member's first choice, however to effectively cater for all areas of function, it is sometimes necessary to vary the preferred choice of some members.


Dress

Judges and Officials when working on the track are required to wear either:

(a) VFBV shirt & shorts; (b) CFA summer uniform; (c) CFA Workwear; or (d) competition running gear

- but not a combination of. All Trackmasters and Track Marshalls are required to wear CFA summer uniform when working on the track.


First Aid Official

If nominating as a First Aid Official for the first time, members are requested to provide details of their qualifications and First Aid Certificates with dates. Please provide this information to championships@vfbv.com.au
