As a coach, I acknowledge that my actions and behaviour should at all times be above reproach.  I accept the responsibility of maintaining a professional behaviour and a professional attitude, regardless of location or circumstance.  This includes conducting myself in a positive manner and using good judgment at all times:

The coach agrees to:

• Refrain from using any profane or abusive language.
  
• Maintain the highest possible standards of respect for referees, athletes, other coaches, team managers, support staff and officials.
• Refrain from abusive and/or bullying behaviour towards judges and referees.
  
• Wear appropriate club uniform during the tournament.
  
• Consider my actions and their consequences personally before I act.
  
• Act with responsibility and discretion with regards to any social activities.
  
• Respect all rules and officials.
• Familiarise themselves with the Child Safety Guidelines 
• In addition to the above, Karate Victoria will at all times endeavour to follow the rules and guidelines as set out by the WKF & AKF/KA

Sanctions may be applied where coaches breach the code of conduct.
