The purpose of this form is to collect feedback from parents / guardians, students and the wider school community.

Child safeguarding concern

A deep and continuing commitment to child safety is at the very core of The Friends’ School. Members of The Friends’ School community should complete the following form when they hold child safeguarding concerns, including harm, abuse or neglect of a student or child in our care at The Friends' School, Friends’ Early Learning and Friends Health & Fitness.

Compliments

If you have had a positive experience and would like to provide a compliment, praise or congratulations, please let the person know directly or pass on your experience using this form.

Suggestions

If you have a suggestion on how we could improve, please use this form.

Complaints

A complaint is an expression of dissatisfaction made to The Friends' School, related to our services or programmes, or the complaints handling process itself, where a response or resolution is explicitly or implicitly expected.

If your feedback is in regard to the Principal of The Friends’ School please use the Grievance, complaint or conflict resolution against the Principal Resolution Form.

Before submitting a complaint please ensure you have read Friends’ Complaints Guidelines.


Responding to Complaints

We will investigate your complaint and do our very best to provide you with a response within 14 days.  If we are unable to provide you with a response within this time frame, we will contact you and keep you informed of our progress.  If necessary, we may need to contact you to obtain further details of your complaint. Once an investigation has been finalised and a determination regarding your complaint has been made, we will notify you in writing.

Anonymity

If your complaint is made anonymously, we will do our very best to investigate and action your complaint to the extent possible. It will not be possible to provide you with feedback.

Privacy

In submitting this official form, The Friends' School is collecting your personal information.  The information you provide will assist us to investigate and resolve the matter and to comply with the legal requirements.

Your personal information will be kept confidential and used on a need to know basis within the School. We may be required by legislation to provide this information to regulatory authorities, our insurers, and any necessary service providers in investigating or taking appropriate remedial action.

This form and the subsequent process will be treated in accordance with the Friends’ policies and guidelines, including, but not limited to the Complaints Policy, Complaints Guidelines, Safeguarding Children Policy and Expectations, Mandatory Reporting Policy, Standards and Expectations, Privacy Policy and Privacy Guidelines. When this form is submitted it will be received by the Complaints Officer or their delegate. An alert will be sent to the appropriate staff member to make contact with you. Complaints will be logged in the School’s Complaints Register and if you are a Friends’ staff member, a copy of your form will also be provided to Human Resources.
